Flowers and swirls

I've been looking through my stamp stash, and I seriously need to destash!  But this stamp won't be going anywhere - I haven't used it in absolutely AGES, but I still love it! It's a woodblock stamp from Hero Arts called "Flowers and Swirls". (the sentiment is from a set called "say it all".)

I stamped the flowers and swirls using Hero Arts Intense Black ink, before messily watercolouring the images with Distress Inks (Wilted Violet, Abandoned Coral, Twisted Citron and some Tumbled Glass in the background). I then decided I needed to ground the image, so I swiped some of the Wilted Violet ink along the edge of my card base, then adhered my watercolour panel over the top.  (With a strip of glitter.  Because glitter.) I also added some Wink of Stella. Or course.
I'll be sharing this card at Simon Says Stamp for their Work it Wednesday link up.
